Working days

The working week starts on Sunday and carries on until Thursday.

Government offices and bank timings: 8:00 am – 15:00pm
Private offices: Most open 8:00am – 18:00pm however some may have a mid day break with staff returning to work in the evening after a mid-day break.
Shop hours: Most shops remain open from 9:00am – 22:00pm every day except Fridays where they open after prayer (prayer is 11:30am – 13:30pm).  The same applies for food stores.
Ramadan: The working day ending varies between 13:00pm and 15:00pm depending on the company policy.
